Breakfast at Everest is a day helicopter tour package to Mt. Everest and the Himalayas. It is the easiest and most luxurious way to explore Mt. Everest within a short period of time. Schedule
6:00 AM: Board on a Helicopter and fly to Hotel Everest View, Syangboche from Kathmandu with stop-over in Lukla.
7.30 AM: Mountain sightseeing by helicopter with a stop-over in Kalapatthar (depending on weather conditions). Shuttle flight to Kalapatthar from Pheriche or Syangboche (Max. 2 people at a time). Ground time is maximum 5 mins.
8.00 AM: Arrive in Hotel Everest View, Syangboche. You will be provided with 30 minutes of ground time for your breakfast and refreshments.
8:45 AM: Fly back to Kathmandu. En-route stops at Lukla for refueling purpose. (Stop over at Lukla 10-15 mins).
10.00 AM: Arrive in Kathmandu.
Note
- Group size is of 05 pax per helicopter.
- Tour program is subject to availability and depends upon the weather conditions.
- If tour program is to be cancelled due to the inclement of weather, same can be arranged on the next day depending on the availability.
- Weather & Clearance: All flight schedules are subject to change. Helicopter operations require favorable weather conditions along the route and at the landing site, as well as mandatory clearance from the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN).
- Weight Restrictions: For overfly operations, the maximum payload per helicopter is strictly limited to 400 kg, including passengers and luggage. Each helicopter can accommodate a maximum of 5 passengers only.
- Service Base: Shuttle services will operate from Periche or Syangboche, depending on group arrangements, with landings at Kalapathar (if weather & security permits)
- Load Capacity at Kalapathar: Due to altitude and landing restrictions, the maximum load capacity at Kalapathar is limited to 2 passengers or a combined weight of 200 kg, including passenger weight and baggage.
- Rescue Priority: Rescue missions are always prioritized. Guests may be required to wait at the airport or on the ground if a rescue operation is in progress.
- Operational Limitations: Helicopter availability is limited for commercial purposes. Flights may be cancelled at short notice due to technical reasons or to accommodate urgent rescue missions.
- Security Measures: For safety and security reasons, staff from the helicopter company or airport authorities may accompany charter / sharing flights.
- Altitude Considerations: High‑altitude landings such as Kalapathar are physically demanding. Guests are advised to be aware of altitude sickness risks and consult their guides or medical professionals if needed.
- Flexibility Required: Given the unique Himalayan environment, guests should remain flexible with timing and arrangements, as last‑minute changes are common.
- One Globe will not be responsible for any additional costs due to weather inclement or any other reason.
